This is a pretty shitty post for me...
So recently while palmatron was chilling out over here,
we googled his name only to find music sites (several,
though a lot of them seemed pretty similar) selling
downloads of his tunes, as well as a torrent of a vinyl that
was meant to be released last year (but never was). This was
a pretty massive shock and piss off to us. We've been
providing free downloads via nobsquadsound.net since it
launched almost a year ago. I've personally donated 2 tunes
to benefit CDs, and passed on taking a share of sales on the
Survival Story CD because I wanted the project be a success,
and for Amadeus to first of all break even and hopefully
profit on a product as good as it is. So if you add that all
up, none of us have yet to make any money producing tunes. I
pay for hosting on a site, a domain name, software etc...
out of my love for the music the nobs crew creates.
So you can uderstand why it sucks for me to have to
announce that very soon (between April 5-7) the audio
section of nobsquadsound.net will be drastically changed.
320 kbps downloads will be made available for $0.25 CDN with
3 minute 128 kbps clip downloads made available to preview
tunes.
We apologize for drastic change in our audio policy.
