The northern.ontario.breakcore.squad. was founded in December, 2005 by Ryan Breault and Michael Palmateer. The two had been good friends for a number of years before meeting up again upon Breault's (Bro's) return to the great white north. It was upon this return that Palmateer (Palmatron) started to pound Bro's brain with the sound of jungle and drum & bass. After months of repetition, the sound struck a chord with Bro, who almost imediately began to produce electronic beats of his own. The next two years would mark a turning point for the two. Bro's beats began to pick up momentum, and their first release came with the "Survival Story" 2-CD ragga-jungle compilation. Now the duo have recruited new friends sympathetic to their sound and their cause. The sound of the squadron grows day by day.
